Perform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplines. Perform and document calculations, drawing markups for drafting and review calculations. Prepare reports. Develop plans and specifications. Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables. Provide engineering services during construction. Provide oversight of junior staff professionals, staff work, and assigned projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of structures. Registration as a Professional Engineer Structural engineering design and detailing skills. Demonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundations. Knowledge of Structural design codes and standards. Experienced at preparing construction drawings. Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team. Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Experience with STAAD or RISA-3 D Preferred Qualifications Preferred education includes a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering. Experience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations. Licensed Structural Engineer Compensation Range $104,000 to $147,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
