Teaching (75%)Three classes the first year (1/2), followed by two classes a semester thereafter. Research (25% of time for the last three semester)Fellows are invited to conduct research and publish in their field, or contribute research toward RGSCP’s goals. Curriculum Building (25% of time for the first semester)Curriculum building with a focus on contributing to new curriculum in American civics and democratic governance in conjunction with the review of UNH’s general education program. Requirements. Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:PhD. (or equivalent terminal degree) in Political Science or a related humanities/social science field, though candidates who concentrate on American civic institutions or civic life will be preferred. Demonstrated or potential excellence in teaching civics, democracy, governance, or related fields. Commitment to service, collaboration, and civic engagement consistent with the mission of RGSCP and the state of New Hampshire. Application Instructions.
