Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Demonstrates hands-on skills and familiarity with industry standard tools and safety procedures. Will be required to lift, pull, transfer, tug, align, secure and maneuver long length network cabling through flooring, walls, tight spaces, and other rooms and computer equipment. Wear of composite toe / steel-toe boots required. Use of OSHA-approved safety equipment may be required as needed. Support for installation of low-voltage wiring, audio visual cabling and networking communications. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or GED equivalent and professional experience related to the field. An associate degree or certification from a technical/vocational school in electronics, networking or a related field is valued. PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, occasionally above head. Regularly required to twist at the waist, climb and descend stairs while carrying objects. Ability to speak and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Regularly lifts and/or moves up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to fifty pounds. Works near moving mechanical parts. Regularly exposed to general office and general office machinery noise. May be exposed to warehouse, truck or forklift noise.
