The Berklee Valencia Summer Programs’ Department in Valencia is looking for 4-5 Program Assistant Coordinators providing general student, programmatic, and logistical support for three summer programs. Employment Dates: July 7 - July 31, 2026. Must be available for all 4 weeks. Programs Dates: Berklee Valencia Contemporary Arts and Music Program (BV-CAMP - Youth) - July 13-July 17, 2026 Music Production Summer Program - July 13-July 17, 2026 Spain Summer Performance Program - July 20-July 31, 2026 Type of Position: Full time temporary Eligibility Requirements:Berklee Valencia alumni, including recent graduates from July 2025 Must be able to work in Europe / Spain. Must speak English. Must be in Valencia, able to work in person. Responsible for finding and acquiring own housing. Outgoing, dynamic and willing to connect and interact with participants, especially younger students. Team player, flexible and able to fulfill a variety of tasks. Reliable and organized Preferred Qualifications:Strong preference for applicants with a performance and/or production experience. Ability to play one or more instruments as needed. Experience working with lights and sound equipment. Former participant of the Spain Summer Performance Program. Camp counseling experience and/or experience working with students ages 10-14 & 15-22 Spanish speaking. Job Responsibilities: Note that specific job responsibilities may differ from program to program based on curriculum and student support needs. Assist with Summer Programs preparation one week prior to program start/arrival date Responsible for a cohort of participants of a wide range of ages. Serve as first point of contact for participants and their families for questions regarding day-to-day logistics and getting around the city. Plan and lead extracurricular workshops & activities outside class time. Sample activities include jam sessions or open mic nights, Spanish language circles, etc. Assist faculty in the classroom as needed. Assist with logistical and curricular support regarding classes, activities, and final performances and recordings. Additional training and/or documentation may be required Some evenings may be required.
