WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:As an Information Officer 2 with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), you will be assisting the Public Information Office by producing professionally written documents, social media content, community alerts, presentations, graphics, short videos, and photographs of pertinent DPS activities. You will share the responsibility of establishing and maintaining positive relations with news media and the public for the department. You will also respond to information requests from news media daily. Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud programs is a plus. Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple stories, research projects, interviews, and abrupt incoming features.
