The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, has exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, and is interested in working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Analyst or Specialist serving as the Human Resources Officer for the Macomb Correctional Facility performing the full range of Human Resources activities. Ideal candidates will have:A strong understanding of the Human Resources field. Able to handle a fast-paced challenging work environment. Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong conflict management skills. Ability to motivate others. A strong understanding of the labor relations field. Position Description: Human Resources Analyst E - Position Description: Human Resources Analyst A - Position Description: Human Resources Specialist Required Education and Experience This position generally requires the education acquired through the possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications of the Human Resources Analyst class and the job specifications of the Human Resources Specialist class.
