The doula will work closely with the birthing team (midwives, nurses and physicians} to provide safe, high quality and culturally sensitive care to all patients giving birth at NYP\BMH. Experience in Childbirth education, labor support, or breastfeeding education and support. Certified Lactation Counselor certification preferred. Required Criteria. High School Diploma or GED - Doula certification and training from DONA International. Basic computer literacy. Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent customer service skills.
