Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement and eligibility for public student loan forgiveness. What You'll Do:Maintain County buildings in a clean, orderly, and professional condition. Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and buff floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, windows, and common areas. Handle heavy-duty cleaning like carpet shampooing and wall washing. Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and chemicals. Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs. Assign tasks and provide day-to-day directions to staff. Assist with hiring and training new team members. Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met. Help schedule shifts and maintain team coverage. Order, track, and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment. Coordinate special projects like deep cleans and seasonal tasks. Communicate regularly with team members and management. What We’re Looking For:High school diploma or GED - At least 6 months of custodial or related experience (lead experience is a plus)Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals. Ability to work independently and lead a team when needed. Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs with or without assistance. A valid driver’s license.
