Provides support to the Region Commercial Sales Teams and customers as it relates to menu changes, creations, renewals, and the process of the overall menu project. Assists Gordon Food Service in providing the highest level of service, quality and integrity to external and internal customers. Responsible for working directly with a customer to build a professional, first class menu in concert with the customer's brand through teamwork, knowledge and professionalism. Essential Functions:Creates professional graphic design of customer menus paying close attention to the detail of layout, pricing and customer branding objectives. Consults and collaborates on menu design with key customers and potential new account customers as directed by the supervisor. Has working knowledge of key menu design programs required as it relates to the menu engineering. Reports quarterly on key performance indicators as directed with those customers for whom menu work has been done. Leads and organizes workflow processes with input from Sales Managers, and Region Sales Manager if required. Assists in answering sales office telephones with appropriate follow up. Follows up with customers, Customer Development Specialist, and Sales Manager on the menu changes, renewals, and process of the overall menu project. Collaborates with the Culinary Specialist and Business Solutions Specialist on a quarterly basis with Marketing Commercial Segment Specialist on trends, industry practices, and company promotions. Maintains an organized and clean environment to help enhance the GFS experience for customers. Understands current menu layout and engineering to help with the maximum profitability for the customers. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as problem-solving capabilities. Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment. Must have good customer service and time management skills. Must be able to collaborate well with both in-house teams and customers. Candidates need to have excellent organization skills. Educational & Experience Requirements. Two years of previous experience or a Bachelor's in graphic design. Ideal candidates will have experience with either Adobe Illustrator or Publisher. Menu design background helpful but not required.
