Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) of Specialty Hospital Operations to lead and oversee the operational performance of specialty hospitals across the Pacific region. This executive leader is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, ensuring clinical and financial excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and compassionate care. The SVP collaborates closely with hospital CE - Os, regional leadership, and corporate teams to align operations with Scion. Health’s mission and values. Essential Functions. Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple specialty hospitals within the Pacific region. Drives performance improvement in clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance. Partners with hospital leadership to implement best practices, standardize processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality of care, and service line growth. Develops and manages regional budgets, forecasts, and capital planning processes. Serves as a mentor and coach to hospital executives, supporting leadership development and succession planning. Collaborates with corporate departments including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical Services. Represents the organization in community, industry, and regulatory forums as appropriate. Ensures alignment with organizational strategic goals, values, and cultural commitments. Maintains regular travel within the assigned region to support operational oversight and leadership engagement. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities/ Expectations. Strong financial acumen with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build high-performing, accountable teams. Comprehensive understanding of hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and healthcare delivery models. Strong strategic thinking, execution, and change management capabilities. Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (required) And. Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)Licenses/ Certifications:None Specified Upon Hire. Experience:10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital or healthcare system operations (required) And 5 years of experience in a multi-site or regional executive leadership role (required) And. Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and leading transformational initiatives, with a strong understanding of specialty hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and healthcare trends (required)Additional Qualification Clarifications:Experience in post-acute, long-term acute care (LTAC), or rehabilitation hospital settings preferred.
