IT Field Support Technician

Provides tier-two support for deployed technology in their area. Monitors and optimizes system performance, ensuring data integrity. Develops and maintains an OS hardware/software configuration database. Administers system security, including access, virus, and patch management. Implements software upgrades and enhancements, including firmware revisions. Responds to technical assistance requests, including on-call for emergencies. Coordinates end user training and collaborates with GMR IT and field staff. Installs/configures desktops, laptops, printers, phones at corporate and remote centers. Troubleshoots and resolves desktop/laptop issues and application software problems. Manages documentation, asset inventories, and cabling connections. Coordinates vendor support, maintenance, repairs, and participates in key committees. Conducts routine audits to ensure compliance with IT standards and policies. Qualifications: Education & Industry Experience MS Windows system administration experience preferred 4 Year Degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required.
