As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Officer in Paramus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/ Malls, and more. Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, loitering, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presenceSupport retail operations by assisting with crowd management, monitoring after-hours activity, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
