The Medical Nursing Director is accountable and responsible, under the direct supervision of the Administrator, for the overall coordination and direction of all nursing activities on assigned areas. Employs organizational strategies in a balanced approach that produces meaningful contributions to each element of the Formula for Success. Requires the promotion of and adherence to the organization s established Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Performance Expectations: Properly uses and operates equipment assigned including but not limited to: telemetry monitors, woundvac, IV infusion pumps, accucheck and defibrillator, PC, printer, fax, and telephone. Qualifications: Education/ Skills Graduate of a recognized RN program and Associate degree in nursing and/or other health related field. Work Experience: A minimum of five years post graduate progress in nursing, required, leadership experience-required.
