Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM - Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site personnel and/or supervisors regarding deliveries, visitor activity, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters. Support Allied Universal standards by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and assisting with direction during weather events, outages, and other location-specific situations. Minimum Requirements:Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
