Directs and coordinates research activities in one or more of the Critical Infrastructure (CI) areas. Develops professional education courses, leads CIP collaboration events, and facilitating research focused on evidence-based practices that inform CIP strategies, policies, procedures, and practices. Oversees projects and coordinates with researchers, public organizations, private industry, and consultants. The selected candidate will facilitate public and private partnerships in one or more of the CI areas. Primary Responsibilities Manages day-to-day project activities for the assigned Critical Infrastructure (CI) sector(s). Responsible for identifying and securing additional sources of funding for the Institute. Directs and coordinates funded research activities to inform policies, procedures, and practices for CI resiliency strategies. Ensures projects are on schedule and within the prescribed budget. Facilitates public and private partnerships in one or more of the CI areas. Oversee projects and coordinates with researchers, public organizations, private industry to include the development of professional education courses, leading CIP collaboration events. Works closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director to review and assess the outputs of the Institute, determines strategic direction, and develops research products to be produced by the Institute.
