Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle, including lowboy trailers and other assigned trucks Transport heavy construction equipment between job sites Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation Secure equipment properly for safe transportation Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and DOT requirements Assist construction crews with tasks such as: Shoveling and material handling Installing erosion control Carrying materials and placing posts Operating small tools and compact equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Participate in proactive team efforts to support project goals Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or supervisor Required Skills and Abilities Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to read and understand basic safety documents and reports Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Strong attention to safety and equipment operation Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Strong work ethic and reliability Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience Experience hauling heavy construction equipment preferred Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Valid Class A CDL required Tanker and Haz. Mat endorsements preferred but not required Other combinations of endorsements may be considered
