Union Bid Management: Coordinate and manage the union bid process, including scheduling, communication with union representatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Maintain accurate records of bid outcomes and ensure timely communication of results to all stakeholders. New Employee Orientation: Facilitate new employee orientation programs, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and conducting onboarding sessions. Ensure all new hires complete necessary documentation and understand company policies and procedures. Attendance Management: Monitor and track employee attendance, including maintaining accurate records of absences, tardiness, and leave requests. Generate attendance reports and work with HR and Operations to address any attendance-related issues. Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for front office inquiries, providing excellent customer service and solutions to employees, visitors, and external partners. Manage the front office area, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling mail and deliveries, and managing office supplies inventory. HR Support: Assist with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing HR paperwork, and supporting recruitment efforts. Help coordinate employee training programs and development initiatives. Operations Support: Provide support to the Operations team, including data entry, report generation, and document management. Assist with project coordination and follow-up on action items as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Skills: Strong understanding of HR practices and principles. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Experience with unionized environments is a plus. Working Conditions: Standard office environment within a manufacturing facility. Occasional need to work beyond normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines or address urgent issues.
