This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job. The Clinic Operations Support Supervisor will be responsible for providing strategic and operational support. This role involves overseeing and coordinating daily administrative and clinical workflows, ensuring adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between providers, staff, and leadership, facilitating effective communication, workflow optimization, and problem resolution. By supporting the implementation of operational strategies, managing staff performance, and monitoring clinic metrics, this position contributes directly to the delivery of high-quality patient care, the efficient functioning of multi-site operations, and the achievement of organizational objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The essential functions listed are typical examples of work performed by positions in this job classification. Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct. - Operational Management: Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient patient scheduling and compliance with clinic policies across multiple sites. - Staff Coordination: Guide onboarding, training, and workflow issue resolution to maintain operational efficiency. - Provider Support: Address operational needs and facilitate communication to ensure resources are available across clinic locations. - Administrative Oversight: Handle record maintenance, clinic performance metrics tracking, and adherence to policies. - Strategic Support: Assist in implementing process improvements, policy updates, and efficiency programs in partnership with clinic leadership. - Communication and Liaison: Serve as a bridge between providers, staff, and leadership to maintain operational alignment. - Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Support collaboration with various teams to enhance clinic operations and patient care initiatives. - Training and Onboarding: Oversee training efforts to ensure staff have necessary knowledge and tools for success. - Performance Management: Support procedures to enhance staff performance, including onboarding and workflow optimization. - Process Improvements: Aid in developing enhancements for operational efficiency and patient care delivery. - Patient Flow Enhancement: Supervise strategies to streamline patient flow and reduce wait times. - Metrics Monitoring: Help monitor clinic metrics to identify opportunities for performance improvements and cost-effective operations. - Resource Allocation: Determine how to best allocate staff, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient operations and continuity of care. - Workflow Evaluation: Evaluate and adjust workflows, including scheduling processes, to improve efficiency and uphold quality standards. - Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: Associate degree in healthcare administration, medical office management or a related field. Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. Licensure/ Certification: None required.
