Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician position involves working in various skilled trades, such as machine preventative maintenance and repair, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, welding, painting, and minor electrical work. Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday from 05:45 am to 06:45 pm)Perform general maintenance on machinery, mechanical equipment, or the facility. Repair, assemble, clean, modify, or fabricate components, tooling, and fixtures to support manufacturing and production. Perform basic plumbing work. Repairs wood or concrete floors, steps, stairs, and sidewalks. Repairs items using welding and machining tools. Move and install equipment such as saws, mills, routers, and material handling equipment. Maintains inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Gathers the necessary information, reads schematics, blueprints, work orders and associated documentation to perform the duties. Works with appropriate facility personnel to mitigate breakdowns and to ensure the product meets the production standards and guidelines in conjunction with quality control objectives. Maintain a safe, clean workspace and abide by all company and OSHA safety policies. Repair Maintenance Technician Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred 3 years of experience in general maintenance, industrial maintenance, or facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of mechanical systems, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and basic machining equipment. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
