The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all quality activities during the assigned shift, covering Process Quality, GP 12, CMM Lab, and Destructive Lab, ensuring product compliance, customer protection, and effective execution of quality standards. Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM (OT on weekends if needed)Pay: Salary (Discussed during interview)Responsibilities:Act as the quality authority during the shift, with full responsibility for quality decisions affecting production flow. Ensure fast containment, escalation, and resolution of quality issues. Support Production and Engineering in decision-making related to quality risks. Coordinate and supervise quality activities across: Process Quality, CMM Laboratory, Destructive Testing Laboratory, and GP 12 Ensure consistent application of inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions. Validate product conformity before release and shipment. Ensure full execution and compliance with GP 12 requirements during the shift. Lead containment activities and ensure zero escape to the customer. Verify effectiveness of additional inspections and controls. Lead immediate problem-solving actions (containment, root cause support). Ensure proper documentation of nonconformities and shift handover. Drive corrective actions in collaboration with Quality Engineering. Supervise quality technicians and inspectors assigned to the shift. Ensure proper task allocation, discipline, and adherence to quality standards. Provide coaching focused on execution, discipline, and decision-making. Communicate quality status, risks, and priorities during shift meetings. Ensure clear handover of open issues to the next shift. Escalate critical issues to Quality Management when required. Housekeeping and other activities as assigned. Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Good people skills. Technical math skills required. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to conduct effective meetings and instructional classes. Excellent problem-solving ability. Available to work additional hours as needed. Qualifications:6 years as in Quality Management experience required. Manufacturing/machine operation, preferably in automotive. Ability to manage priorities across multiple quality areas. Hands-on leadership mindset. High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Engineering, or related field. Formal training in Quality Systems is preferred.
