Human Resources Specialist - Third Shift (On-site)

Provide professional HR support on third shift in a heavy manufacturing setting, to include: -Employee Relations and Engagement; -Provide accurate and timely data from HRIS; -Benefits Administration; -HR Employee Records; - Provide support for HR policy implementation. - Building and maintaining employee records in accordance with corporate standards; - Ensuring compliance with local and corporate HR polices and procedures; - Serve as a point of contact to employees for all HR related topics; - Process employee payroll; - Timely submission of forms and documents to corporate HR; - Process all employee leave paperwork; - Administer employee benefit plans; - Conduct candidate interviews and hiring process; - Process company responses to unemployment claims; - Interpret and advise employees on company policies; - Special projects and event planning. - Some college required, Bachelors in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience preferred; - Professional certification in Human Resources preferred. - 3-5 years as an HR professional in a heavy manufacturing environment; - Ability to create and present information to a large group; - Proven written and verbal communication skills; - Experience in Kronos and HRIS; - Attention to detail; - Knowledge of laws regarding employment law, employee benefits, leave and accommodations; - Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities.
