Insurance options available Job duties of a Traffic Control Flagger: Performs traffic control and flagging operations following all safety procedures. Sets up and removes signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices. Directs motorists safely around work zones and moving equipment. Coordinates daily plans, locations, and updates with crew leads and officers. Ensures safety of workers and the traveling public at all times. Monitors and maintains traffic control equipment and visibility in workzones. Completes job tickets, paperwork, and end-of-day walkthroughs accurately and on time. Communicates team updates and equipment needs with supervisors. Assists with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of work areas. Follows all safety rules and wears required protective equipment. Works independently to set up and perform flagging duties per site plans or supervisor direction. Operates a two-way radio for clear communication. Provides excellent customer service and professionalism. Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned Job Requirements and Desired Skills for Traffic Control Flagger: Must have a High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months of prior experience as a flagger is required. Wear PPE as required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Works effectively as part of a team.
