REGIONAL HR BUSINESS PARTNER Position Summary As a strategic advisor, culture champion, and change agent, the Regional HR Business Partner (RHRBP) plays a critical role in aligning people strategies with business objectives across a multi-site portfolio. This dynamic role supports and empowers regional leaders by driving organizational effectiveness, fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace, and promoting a high-performance culture. The RHRBP provides targeted leadership coaching, manages complex employee relations, and ensures compliance through sound judgment and HR expertise. With a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), cross-functional collaboration, and data-informed decision-making, this role helps shape a workplace where employees thrive and business goals are achieved. Essential Duties Employee Relations Serves as a resource to field team members regarding human resource policies and procedures. Coach and counsel employees through all stages of the employee life cycle. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective, thorough and objective investigations ensuring documentation is complete. Provides thoughtful recommendations to the business following the investigation. Provides guidance regarding unemployment hearings as necessary. Workforce Management: Leads performance management initiatives and provides guidance to managers in areas such as workforce planning, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, career development and succession planning. Coach and consult with managers on matters involving employee performance management to develop leadership competency in these areas. Facilitate compensation reviews based on management request. Leave Management: Partner with Leave Specialist to navigate complex leave situations to ensure compliance and facilitate a seamless end to end employee experience. Identify and navigate risk in the areas of Workers Compensation and Leave Administration through knowledge of applicable leave laws. Navigate ADA accommodations and workplace restrictions by partnering with key stakeholders. Training and Compliance: Through trending analysis, identify training needs associated with applicable employment laws and workforce management initiatives. Partner with key training stakeholders to build programs to address needs identified within the designated region. Attend relevant monthly and/or quarterly regional meetings to deliver pertinent HR updates within each region as identified by Regional Manager or AVP. Coordinate and ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with relevant employment law, including posting required notifications and generating applicable documentation. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent experience to PHR/ SPHR certification accepted. Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 3 years in a strategic HRBP or regional role. Retail or multi-site HR experience preferred. Proven ability to partner with senior leadership in a multi-site environment. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license as frequent travel within assigned region may be required. PHR/ SPHR certification preferred. Work Environment: Primary work environment: Office & Remote. Noise level: Quiet to moderate. Work schedule: Monday-Friday.
