Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual in English/ Spanish is preferred. But here's a known family secret, being part of one, does take effort - it's all about what you do (your responsibilities/contributions) and how you do it (your behaviors/superpowers) -- so here are some of the things you can expect to experience as you build your FAN club in this house. There will be challenges: Just like families, disabilities come in different types. You will see many of them along with the mental health challenges in the Individuals (aka the Program participants) that we serve. You will also learn about the different agencies and resources we work with to help you provide support directly, or indirectly, to the Individuals. There will be chores:You will do site visits on a daily basis at community locations and homes to observe and train team members. You will provide just-in-time coaching on how to deliver personalized support (based on the Individual's Service Plan, Health, and Behavior Plans) as team members assist the Individuals' in developing social and job-related skills to achieve their goals optimal levels of independence. You will train the team to successfully create and maintain documentation, e.g., behavioral charts, incident reports, medication logs, etc. and work with the Case Administrator to review reports, make recommendations to enhance policies, procedures, and/or training, and provide feedback on staff performance.
