Job Store Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Travel Coordinator / Accounting Assistant. This role is a blend of travel logistics, accounting support, and general administrative responsibilities. It is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, working with numbers, and providing strong internal customer service. Position Overview: This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of employee travel while also supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial tasks. You will serve as a key point of contact for travel needs, ensure compliance with company policies, and assist with accounting processes including AP and AR. Key Responsibilities: Travel Coordination:Plan and book flights, hotels, rental cars, and other transportation for employees, including group travel for conferences and corporate events Prepare and manage detailed travel itineraries and communicate updates or changes to travelers Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors to secure competitive rates and reliable service (no contract signing required) Track travel expenses, monitor budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities Handle travel disruptions such as delays or cancellations and provide timely solutions Ensure all travel arrangements align with company policies, approval processes, and applicable regulations Act as the primary point of contact for employees throughout the travel process Stay current on travel trends, tools, and regulations to continuously improve processes Accounting Support:Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions accurately and in a timely manner Perform account reconciliations and support reporting needs Track and report sales and use tax across multiple states Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Administrative Duties:Answer incoming calls and provide general front desk support Greet visitors and maintain a professional office environment Update internal phone lists and assist with general administrative tasks Qualifications:Experience in travel coordination and accounting (AP/ AR preferred) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency with computers and ERP systems (Jamis experience is a plus) Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively Government contracting experience is a plus Ability to train others on travel policies and expense processes Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent At least two years of experience in professional travel coordination and accounting Additional education or training in business or a related field is preferred
