Job Title: Clinical Assistant Professor The successful applicant will provide instruction in microanatomy, gross anatomy, and/or physiology, depending upon the departmental needs and the candidate’s greatest area of expertise; will work with instructors in the clinical disciplines to better integrate first-year DVM subject matter with medicine and surgery; will be expected to publish papers in veterinary medical educational journals, both from collaborative and independent studies. The College of Veterinary Medicine has a focus on educating the veterinary team, including students in the DVM and Veterinary Nursing programs. The Department and College will provide mentoring for teaching and development of educational scholarship. Employer requires a DVM (or related) by the time of appointment; an M. S. degree in a field related to veterinary medicine is preferred. Employer accepts a foreign equivalent in satisfaction of the education requirement, and accepts a PhD in lieu of a Master's. We seek an individual who will excel in teaching in the classroom and laboratories, and conduct scholarly and innovative activities to advance veterinary education at Purdue and in the global veterinary community.
