Our Enterprise Performance organization seeks an entry level 1 Program Planner to join our mission in Highlands Ranch, CO supporting various programs and strategic initiatives within in our Commercial Civil Space line of business supporting the Orion Program. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, NASA’s first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth. As our Program Planner, you will... - Partner with Program, Capture & Senior Managementto drive cost, schedule, and technical performance byfacilitating integration across all functions - Develop compliant Integrated Program Scheduleswhich accurately validate the flow, budget, andresources required to execute contractual scope andoverarching program strategy - Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysisand actionable planning data, and developrecommended solutions to programmatic executionconflicts - Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored andstatused - Prepare/coordinate the development of planningartifacts for solicitation response - Interface with program management, seniormanagement and the customer as the programsplanning integrator - Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, andcost/schedule integration between all schedules andother program artifacts - Devise modeling and measuring techniques tointegrate risks and opportunities with schedule andcost baseline, and to perform schedule riskassessments - Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved programperformance#LM - Space. Program. Planners - Bachelor degree preferred - Understanding of EVM - Understanding of critical path analysis - Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of aspacecraft/satellite program - Understanding of the Program Performance. Management Process - Demonstrated competency in integratingcost/schedule - Prior team lead experience - Ability to work independently as well as part of anintegrated team - Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attentionto detail - Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance - Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposalactivities - Strong influencing and relationship managementskills - Excellent problem solving skills to identify and resolvechallenges arising in dynamic situations - Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, evenwith limited information or under time constraints - Ability to communicate and work effectively acrossmultiple disciplines.
