Photograph UGA Athletics events, practices, and team activities across all 21 varsity sports. Assist with capturing studio portraits, headshots, team photos, and content days. Edit, organize, and deliver imagery for use by social media, digital, communications, and external operations teams. Maintain an organized workflow for managing a high volume of images under tight deadlines. Collaborate closely with designers, social media staff, and other creatives to produce content that aligns with brand guidelines and creative goals. Stay current on photography trends in the sports and entertainment industries. Relevant/ Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of applicable experience in photography or a related creative field. Experience photographing sports at the collegiate, professional, or high school level. Familiarity with studio lighting setups and off-camera flash. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop; experience with Photo Mechanic or similar asset management tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and photographic techniques, especially in dynamic or low-light environments. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during game coverage. Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to thrive in a deadline-driven setting.
