E-Commerce distribution center in western Palm Beach County seeks 5 Picker / Packers for seasonal help and with the potential of earning a permanent opportunity! Work schedule 9 am - 5 pm M-F with the opportunity for occasional over time. Our chosen candidates for Picker / Packer will possess strong attention to detail, proven reliability and an eagerness for stable work. Some of the duties of our chosen Picker / Packer associates may include:Selects and packages products for shipment based on customer orders. Surveys items for possible damage or defects before shipment. Fills customer orders promptly by reviewing order forms to ascertain scan numbers, and merchandise quantities. Attaches identification information, including SKU labels, to products or containers. Compares invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation. Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate safety issues. Utilizes a continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes. Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. To qualify for the Picker / Packer job you must possess the following abilities and qualifications: Attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. Tolerance for repetitive activity. Punctuality and reliability. Safety focus. Ability to read and follow written directions.
