PrideStaff is actively seeking a material handler for a client located in Thornton. This is working outdoors in a lumber yard environment. This is a temp to hire opportunity based on performance and client need. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm, This company offers the opportunity for overtime (when their workload allows for additional hours)Job Duties:Banding completed orders for shipment Checking in and receiving products from vendors. Maintaining yard appearance by covering materials and cleaning up excess waste. Building customer's orders for either pickup or delivery. Unloading and loading semis, trucks, flatbeds, customer vehicles and our own delivery vehicles. Maintaining excellent customer service practices. This position requires the following skills:Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be reliable, trustworthy and honest. Yard or delivery experience is preferred, but not required. Self-motivated, can work independently with minimal oversight or guidance after training. Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and coworkers.
