We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support facility operations in an industrial manufacturing environment in Milford, CT. This role is responsible for the daily operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC and related systems to ensure efficient and safe facility performance. The technician will work across a variety of environments, including plant equipment areas, laboratories, clean rooms, and office spaces. Why Join Us Competitive hourly pay at $41.90/hr Stable, full-time direct hire position Clean, climate-controlled work environment Strong team-oriented culture with a focus on safety and quality Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off (PTO) 11 paid holidays Key Responsibilities Install, service, modify, rebuild, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in compliance with applicable building codes and safety regulations Operate and maintain central plant systems including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, water treatment systems, air compressors, air handlers, and pumps Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions Respond to emergency equipment and system failures as needed Document all preventive and corrective maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Prioritize and manage multiple work orders, ensuring timely completion and communication with stakeholders Utilize Building Automation Systems (BAS) to monitor and optimize equipment performance Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection, cleaning, adjustments, and replacement of consumables Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments regarding facility issues and work status Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high-quality performance standards Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations Qualifications Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility operations or HVAC maintenance Valid S 1 or S 2 license required EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification required Experience with CMMS and Energy Management Systems preferred Strong working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Additional Requirements Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including confined spaces and temperature extremes Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights and using ladders 10196129
