The Human Services Administration (HS Admin) Department is recruiting for Statistical Data and Research Outcomes Analyst - who plan, organize, develop, and implement analysis and statistical applications for Human Services programs within the Research, Outcomes and Quality Support (ROQS) Unit. ROQS Statistical Data and Research Outcomes Analysts are responsible for data analysis and evaluation for several Human Services agencies including: Child and Family Services (CFS), Transitional Assistance Department (TAD), and Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS). The analyst will work closely with the Human Services Agency staff to provide data and analysis, survey design and implementation, create and maintain dashboards, and develop program evaluations. Analysts may be required to present their findings at small to large forums. There is an immediate vacancy in the HS Administration Research, Outcomes and Support Unit (ROQS). Qualifying education must include twelve (12) semester (18) quarter units of completed graduate level coursework in Statistics or Research Methodology. OPTION 2 Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education in Statistics, Math, Social Sciences, Public/ Business Administration, or closely related field. Qualifying education must include twelve (12) semester (18 quarter) units of completed upper division coursework in Statistics or Research Methodology. NOTE: An unofficial transcript listing all completed coursework must be submitted with the application.-AND- Experience: One (1) year of technical, or professional-level full-time equivalent experience conducting research studies, mathematical analysis, or statistical analysis using SAS, SPSS or other statistical software programs. Desired Qualifications Desirable skills include the ability to:Manipulate data and prepare visualizations using Excel. Conduct and interpret the results of multivariate analysis using statistical methods. Prepare visualizations using business intelligence platforms (Tableau and Power BI)Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software products for spatial analysis. Query data and write scripts using SQL; utilize relational database systems. Program data-related commands using SAS, SPSS, STATA, R, Python, or equivalent. Create automated reports and develop data dashboards for web publication. Conduct studies and/or analysis of Demographic/ Epidemiological/ Health/ Crime Statistics or evaluations to measure government program/policy effectiveness
