These full-time, permanent positions, located in various areas of Honolulu, involves supervising and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of park facilities and surrounding grounds. What You'll Do:Supervise and perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, watering, and cleaning parks, facilities, parking lots, and right-of-ways. Lead and oversee work crews including maintenance personnel and community service workers by assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity. Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment to transport staff, supplies, and materials and perform basic upkeep. Train staff on maintenance and safety practices including proper use and care of tools and equipment. Inspect parks, facilities, equipment, and contractor-maintained areas to identify damage, vandalism, and needed repairs. Manage schedules and coordinate park usage including permits, reporting issues, and assisting with minor repairs. Perform other related duties as required.
