This position requires the responsibility of providing treatment in a variety of settings such as: inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and home care patient population. Physical Therapists are also responsible for the supervision of treatments or parts of treatments delegated to support personnel. The Physical Therapist will work with patients, initially evaluating them and establishing a plan of care. The Physical Therapist should ensure patients are progressing and adapt the plan of care according to progress and other applicable conditions. These treatments should include utilization of techniques and equipment of rehabilitation, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, manual therapy, ultrasound, traction, therapeutic exercises, massage, wound care interventions, and individualized application to the patient. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. Qualifications. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: PRE-HIRE QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School/ Master’s Degree and/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Must be familiar with all up-to-date techniques and treatments covering the entire field of Physical Therapy (Internal medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics) Licensure qualifies therapist to assess and treat the pediatric through the geriatric population with a focus toward National Patient Safety Goals. Licensed to practice Physical Therapy by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy Association Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
