Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Part Time - Retail in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM - Sat 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM - Sun 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior. Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
