Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Assist students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty with directions, general information, and post instructions while maintaining awareness of campus access activity and site protocols. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
