The role serves as a thought partner to People Analytics leadership, helping define standards, best practices, and future-state capabilities across the analytics ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings exceptional analytical and business acumen, fluency in modern HR and enterprise data environments, and a strong track record of translating complex data and technology into practical, high-value solutions that drive decision-making and organizational progress. Key Responsibilities. Analytics, Insights, and Business Partnership Establish governance, success metrics, and responsible AI practices for analytics-driven AI solutions. Serve as a thought leader on applied AI in People Analytics, advising senior HR leadership. Serve as a data subject matter expert supporting workforce insights needs across Store Operations, Distribution Centers, and the Store Support Center. Translate business objectives into actionable metrics, dashboards, models, and insights that guide decision-making. Develop and refine HR KPIs, reporting frameworks, and insights packages for business partners. Deliver high-quality, action-oriented analytics using Workday, Workday Prism, the HR Data Lakehouse, and Power BI. Provide advanced quantitative analysis, data modeling, data profiling, and scenario analysis to inform operational and strategic priorities. Technology Innovation, Use Case Development & Adoption Leadership This position will play a leadership role in innovation within the People Analytics team: Identify emerging technologies, industry best practices, and new capabilities relevant to People Analytics (AI, automation, copilots, advanced analytics, etc.). Develop clear use cases and prototypes demonstrating how new tools can improve analytics delivery, productivity, or business partner experience. Test and pilot concepts with People Analytics team members and HR/business partners to assess feasibility and value. Lead rollout, training, adoption, and success measurement for approved solutions across the department. Champion continuous improvement and help build a culture of innovation within the People Analytics function. Reporting Ecosystem Development Partner with People Analytics teammates and business stakeholders to identify new data requirements and partner with Engineering resources to integrate them into Workday Prism or the Microsoft Fabric data lake as needed. Contribute to expanding and optimizing People Analytics’ data architecture, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and availability of governed data assets. Build and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and presentations that use our enterprise data environment as a single source of truth. Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and cross-functional teams to support the continued evolution of our enterprise HR analytics ecosystem. Operational Excellence & Team Enablement Mentor teammates in advanced analytics, ETL concepts, data storytelling, and visualization best practices. Help establish standards and repeatable processes for analytics development, documentation, and delivery. Contribute to the team’s long-term roadmap, aligning work to enterprise goals and People Analytics’ strategic direction. Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree (Analytics, Business, HR, Finance, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent experience. 7 years of experience in analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, or relevant HR analytics roles. Deep experience designing and leveraging insights from Workday, Workday Prism, and modern HR data platforms (Microsoft Fabric or equivalent), in close partnership with Data Engineering. Advanced Power BI skills (data modeling, DAX, visualization, governance). Strong SQL experience and proficiency in data wrangling & ETL logic. Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership. Advanced Excel proficiency. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Requirements: Experience using AI or Copilot technologies to improve analytics delivery or stakeholder experience. Familiarity with Workday HCM concepts, HR data governance, and workforce analytics best practices. Certifications in Data Analytics, Data Science, Workday Reporting, or Power BI.
