As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Guard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support access control and other security-related activities. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with guests and staff, and bring a caring, reliable approach grounded in teamwork, integrity, and innovation. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM - Tue 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM - Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM - Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM - Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel or resort environment. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related matters according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support property rules, and assist with security-related incidents as needed. Communicate with hotel or resort personnel, guests, and local responders when appropriate, while documenting observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in a clear and timely manner. Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
