How you’ll make an impact in this role Acute Care & Triage: Rapidly triage and assess infants, children, and teenagers to identify life-threatening issues. Clinical Interventions: Administer acute medical care, including I - Vs, medications, wound care, and assistance with fracture stabilization. Specialized Emergency Management: Manage pediatric Level One Trauma emergencies, such as drug overdose, traumatic brain injuries (e.g., intracranial bleeds), motor vehicle accidents and gunshot/ stab wounds. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and Child Life Services to foster a comfortable, kid-friendly care environment. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s):Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s):Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
