We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, with a focus on Electronics and Surface Mount Technology (SMT). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, with a strong emphasis on surface mount technology. This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing, process development, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, including surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT)Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing defects, and increasing productivityDevelop and implement test and inspection procedures to ensure high-quality electronic assembliesCollaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products and to provide feedback on design for manufacturability (DFM)Develop and maintain documentation, including process documentation, work instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs)Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, including process-related problems and equipment malfunctionsImplement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policiesRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT) Proven experience in process development, implementation, and improvement in an electronics manufacturing environmentMust have a strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, THT, and inspection/test methodsExperience with manufacturing equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisionsExcellent communication and leadership skills, with experience working in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience with ERP systems, such as Costpoint, SAP or OraclePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole technology (THT)Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, including automation, robotics, and data analyticsCertification in electronics manufacturing, such as Certified SMT Engineer (CSMT) or Certified Electronics Technician (CET)Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $96623 - $164259Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
