Opportunity Overview:As a Digital Content Strategist, youll play a hands-on role in advancing Jones. Link and the Knowledge Lab mission: delivering fast, reliable answers associates can trust. Youll improve the quality, clarity, and usability of intranet content so it works for people and is ready for modern search and AI-assisted experiences. Youll partner closely with senior associates and content owners to rewrite, edit, and approve contentensuring its concise, accurate, well-structured, and governed as an authoritative source of truth. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys editing and refining content so its structured, scannable, and easy to navigate; is curious about how content design, layout, and language influence user behavior; and wants to see their work directly improve how branch and home office associates find guidance and complete work. Youll help build the content foundations that make an intranet AI readyclear ownership, consistent standards, accessible formatting, and content thats organized and tagged in ways that support intelligent search, summarization, and reuse. As a Digital Content Strategist, your day might include:Reviewing and rewriting intranet content to make it clearer, more concise, and easier to scanso associates can get to the right answer quickly. Partnering with senior associates and stakeholders to translate business needs into well-structured, user-centered knowledge that aligns to Jones. Link/ Knowledge Lab standards. Editing and approving content written by others to ensure accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and readiness for AI-assisted experiences (clear headings, chunked content, plain language, and reusable components)Improving findability by applying SEO and intranet search best practices, including page structure, titles, and metadata (where applicable)Ensuring content follows intranet layout, formatting, and design standards so its accessible, consistent, and easy to consume across devices. Supporting content governance by helping content owners maintain healthy pages over time (review cycles, updates, and recommendations to revise, retire, or consolidate content)Balancing thoughtful collaboration with editorial precisionso Intranet (Jones. Link) content remains trusted, current, and ready to power future AI-enabled answers. Required Qualifications. College degree with a concentration in communications, journalism, English, marketing, information science, or a related field (preferred)35 years of experience in digital content strategy, content management, knowledge management, technical writing, journalism, or a related field. Strong experience writing and editing for digital channels (intranet/web); SharePoint experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to improve content findability through strong information architecture, on-page structure, and search best practices. Experience editing content in one or more content management systems and applying governance standards to ensure consistency and quality at scale. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and provide clear editorial guidance. Nice to Have. Experience with knowledge governance, taxonomy/metadata, content lifecycle practices (review cycles, certification/expiration), or content analytics. Familiarity with AI-assisted content tools (e.g., summarization or rewrite support), content deduplication, or automation concepts that improve quality at scale.
