Career Level: T 3-2 Additional Locations: Original Posting Date: 04/20/26 Job Title: Senior Quality Specialist Location: Palo Alto, CA Work Model: Hybrid work model Purpose and Objective: SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Quality Specialist at our Palo Alto, CA location to work in a product, cross functional, or testing team with special focus to quality assurance and test related tasks within the product creation process. Expectations and Tasks: Able to define quality and test strategies for products respecting defined process and product standards. Analyze, define, implement, and execute quality and test related activities according to this quality and test strategy. Create a detailed test design incl. test system landscape definition and product standards, prepares tests (customizing and master data), authors and executes manual and/or automated tests. Analyze test results (issues) and takes appropriate follow-up actions. A subject matter expert for teams in terms of quality assurance and test related processes, methods, and tools. Initiate process or tool improvements. Have a proficient product domain knowledge incl. relevant business processes & scenarios and a proficient understanding of customer needs. Have an advanced knowledge about relevant product and process standards, important legal requirements as well as quality assurance, and test related tools. Have proficient knowledge and technical competencies of relevant programming languages, related development tools, and processes. Education and Occupational Experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Qualifications/ Skills and Competencies Experience: Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following: Java or Script; and Test. NG. Experience must involve two (2) years involving each of the following: Azure Pipelines; Cucumber and Selenium; Docker; Gradle; Splunk; j. Unit; and SAP ECC ERP. Travel: N/ A.
