The Manager, Agency Management sits within our Agency Management Center of Excellence and is responsible for cultivating KDP portfolio internal and external creative agency relationships, developing and optimizing content and production processes, and supporting content development in order to drive toward breakthrough and impactful creative communication for KDP brands. This person reports to the Senior Director of Agency Management, Spend Optimization & Operating Efficiencies. The ideal candidate will bring 6 years of progressive marketing or agency experience and a leadership style that fuses inspiration with a passion for making a difference. Agency Relationship Management. Leverage agency acumen to cultivate best-in-class agency partnerships. Serve as a point of contact for selected creative, PR, media, technology, and/or consumer engagement agencies and vendors. Assist Senior Director and Senior Manager with optimization of agency ecosystem, including support for agency RFPs and agency transitions. Manage annual calendar of portfolio client/agency meetings, thought leadership forums, and learning and development sessions. Use strong industry knowledge and business acumen to define agency deliverables, advise on staffing plans, track performance, and strategically drive efficiencies in fee negotiations. Agency Scope Development, Fee Negotiations and Continuous Improvement. In partnership with Brand, Cultural Integrations, Omni and/or Media teams, define brand-specific agency needs and deliverables to develop portfolio agency scopes. Utilize strong industry knowledge and agency and business acumen to review and assess agency deliverables, advise on staffing plans, track performance, and strategically drive efficiencies in fee negotiations. Strong financial acumen and ability to synthesize data, lead agency fee proposal analysis, and reporting. Lead initiatives to improve ways of working with in-house and external agency partners to drive consistency in approach, reduce agency burn and/or improve quality of deliverables/outputs. Leverage strong negotiation skills to lead selected agency negotiations and reduce financial risk for KDP Optimization of Agency Ways of Working & Comms Process. Lead ongoing definition and refinement of comms processes and agency ways of working across the portfolio to identify efficiencies and optimizations. Develop and maintain exceptional cross-functional relationships in order to drive collaboration and efficiency across functions in shared asset production and utilization. Measure Success – Track Agency Performance and Audit Utilization. Optimize agency performance tracking and reporting process and communication cadence, including definition of performance standards, measurement for success, and review and refinement of scorecards, and gathering and delivery of feedback to agencies and internal stakeholders. In conjunction with agencies and stakeholders, define action plans for improvement. Track and communicate progress. Lead agency resource utilization tracking, identifying risks and potential areas for efficiency capture and/or cost mitigation.
