Assists in large interdisciplinary projects focused on youth anxiety and sleep, funded by National Institutes of Health. Creates, manages, and organizes data and then cleans, processes and analyzes this data using various software and database systems. Analyzes data, writes reports summarizing findings, presenting findings to research group, and assisting with publications. Serves as the subject matter expert in the maintenance of databases/data systems. Keeps database/data system clean and well organized. Looks for problem areas or abnormalities and corrects them. Creates efficiencies in data validation and reporting. Responsible for administration, database design, and maintenance. Designs efficient data collection techniques. Supports requests for reporting needs using standard analytic approaches (e.g., graphical and tabular data summaries, regression analyses). Interacts with team members to understand research goals and processes, then gathers, formulates, and analyzes the data to assist with planning and decision making. Uses a combination of reporting tools for data analysis and presentation of information. Verifies accuracy and looks for discrepancies in system data. May recommend changes on data collection and management policies and procedures as necessary. May supervise lower-level staff. Serves as the University's credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University's credit card policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four (4) years of appropriate experience or a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience. Desired Qualifications. Knowledge of Python and/or R programming languages. Knowledge of RED - Cap and RED - Cap API - Knowledge of SLURM scheduling on HPC - Job Category. Administrative.
