Equitable is seeking a dynamic, high-energy individual to join us as the Complex Operations Manager to provide operating support to EVPs and COO of the Northern Complex. You’ll manage staff workflow in the Complex branch locations, including oversight of Office Coordinators and other positions. The Complex Operations Manager will work in office out of the Pittsburgh, PA office. Equitable Advisors is committed to making a difference in the lives of clients. What You’ll Be Doing Responsibilities - Primarily oversee Operations for Pittsburgh and The Empire branches and secondarily coordinate with partner Complex COM. - Manage branch Operations support teams. - Managing branch budgets and expense approvals. - Partner with EVP and sales managers to achieve sales and hiring goals for each branch. - Serve as key escalation point for all Operations and compensation issues. The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Equitable Pay and Benefits: Equitable Total Rewards Program What You Will Bring Required Qualifications - FINRA Series 7 and 24 registrations. - 5 years of relevant Operations experience with a progressive increase in responsibility. - Ability to work independently and manage highly complex multi-discipline project teams. - Develop and implement efficient procedures throughout the Complex in partnership with COO - Administer company policies at the local level and act as Field Liaison for the Complex / Headquarters Preferred Qualifications - Detail oriented, with strong ability to streamline communication. - Outgoing, positive team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills; innovative, creative, and committed to delivering the best employee experience. - High sense of urgency, flexible, and resourceful with strong execution skills; must maintain confidentiality. - Should possess ability to work independently and in a team environment with collaborative skills, working with all levels and dedicated to a strong employee experience Skills Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
