The Instructional Assistant at Academy Charter School is responsible for supporting classroom teachers with small group instruction, behavior management, and clerical tasks, and serves our students by helping with carpool and supervising the lunchroom and playground during recess. Position Specific Information (if Applicable):Responsibilities:Provide support to grade-level teachers and students Provide large and small group support for academic progress. Assist teachers with clerical tasks and other functions. Assist in the maintenance of student records. Perform supervision duties in the cafeteria. Perform supervision duties on the playground/field. Perform supervision duties for the morning and afternoon carpool. Collaborate with the Sp. Ed team to provide support to students with IEPs Provide first aid. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested Required Qualifications. Able to work full-time Monday-Friday 7:15 am -3:45 pm. High School Diploma. Ability to work with students, Kindergarten-8th grade. General clerical and computer skills. Positive attitude. Polished professional appearance.
