The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Coordinator of Broadcast Production. The position is responsible for assisting the Broadcast Production staff with coordination of the broadcast, scoreboard, and video production schedules. Coordinates video production for specified sections of University athletics ensuring best standards for nationally televised events. Produces, edits, and finalizes videos. Develops and assists in video content production. The coordinator will assist the Broadcast Production staff with administrative needs such as, but not limited to, payroll entries, hiring of students and freelancers, purchase order and vendor management, and budget tracking. Responsibilities also include helping to manage the event and video production schedule for both live broadcast and post-production shoots, as well as crewing positions. The coordinator will be asked to operate control room equipment for various live events on the scoreboard or the ACC Network Extra. Possible operator positions include replay systems, character generators, switchers, broadcast cameras, and audio mixers. The coordinator may also be asked to produce some events. The coordinator will assist in the production of video content that can be used in broadcasts, post-produced shows, and video features for the ACC Network and Pitt Athletics platforms. The positions will also assist in the production of elements for marketing, advertising, and social media, and help manage media assets. Required to be mobile for long periods of time, especially on gamedays. The University of Pittsburgh is an equal opportunity employer / disability / veteran.
