Maintenance Technician II (7:00 pm-7:00 am, 7:00 am-7:00 pm) Who we are looking for:We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician II to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and operable condition of machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. What you'll do:Maintenance Technician II responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Maintain and repair equipment used to manufacture, package, convey, and store PVC conduit. Ensure safe and operable condition of machinery and mechanical components by completing required P - Ms on engines, motors, and pneumatic tools. - Perform basic electrical tasks and perform welding, plumbing, pipe fitting and fabricating duties as required - Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately What you'll bring: - High School diploma or equivalent - Mechanical skill set experience - Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired - Any other requirements/qualifications as needed Within 3 months, you'll: - Complete any required training - Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role. - Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
