This role is perfect for someone who has already assisted with residential HVAC installations and is ready to continue learning from some of the best in the business. As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced lead installers to help complete residential HVAC system replacements, new installs, and equipment upgrades. You will be hands-on every day and play an important role in making sure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and with a 5-star customer experience. The Good Stuff: Piece Pay Medical, Dental, Vision 401 k with 4% company match PTO, Wellness Days, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave Company Provided Phone and Uniforms Continuous training and career growth opportunities Employee Discounts Pet Insurance What You’ll Do: Assist with residential HVAC system installs, replacements, and change-outs Help remove old equipment and prepare work areas for installation Assist with setting condensers, furnaces, air handlers, ductwork, and thermostats Perform brazing, vacuum pulls, refrigerant recovery, and charging under supervision Assist with high voltage wiring, low voltage wiring, and thermostat setup Ensure all installs are completed safely and according to code Keep trucks stocked, clean, and organized Maintain a clean and professional job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates Use iPads and Service. Titan to document work performed What You Need: 1 years of assisting on residential HVAC installations Valid driver's license with no major violations within the last 3 years Ability to use an iPad and our Service. Titan software Familiarity with brazing with nitrogen, pulling a vacuum and recovery, high voltage hookups, wiring thermostats, and basic HVAC install practices Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and tight spaces EPA Certification required TDLR and NATE certifications preferred Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials Positive attitude and team-first mindset At Radiant, we believe in investing in our people.
