Environmental, Health and Safety Intern

The EHS Summer Intern will support corporate Environment, Health & Safety initiatives across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience with safety programs, data analysis, audits, and employee engagement activities. Responsibilities: Support corporate EHS programs, policies, and initiatives across multiple sites Assist with safety data collection, analysis, and reporting (e.g., incidents, near misses, audits, training completion) Participate in workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities Help develop or update EHS documentation, training materials, and communications Research best practices and benchmark EHS programs or tools Complete a defined summer project aligned with corporate safety priorities Prepare and deliver a final presentation to leadership summarizing project scope, findings, lessons learned, and recommendations Minimum skills / qualifications: Currently enrolled in a full time degree program Strong interest in workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment Attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and processes Preferred skills / qualifications: Coursework or experience related to OSHA, environmental regulations, or safety management systems Experience with data analysis, dashboards, or reporting tools Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing, corporate, or operations environments
